![]() ![]() Now i use trainsignal regularly - most recently for VCP5, Exchange 2010, Citrix XA6.5, Office 2010, Server08R2.work purchases all of my training and it is so handy being able to self educate with this very high quality education material - i load the videos up on my ipad and watch them on the commute to and from work.almost 2hrs a day so i can get through a course real quick :) They were such a great help with increasing my virtualisation/vmware knowledge and i actually felt like i got more knowledge from those videos compared to the $5,000 instructor run VCP course!!! The instructor advised us of the transsignal VMWare videos.so i got them. I first came across them back in 2010 when i was doing a 5 day VCP course with an IT Education company. Ive been using trainsignal for years - they are excellent! These same people get paid 50K or better for not knowing 1/10th of what they should know! Guys their are people here in Birmingham who get forced to go back to school to get a CS degree but don't even know what a server is or how it works before and after that degree. They did however teach me the value of design theory and web development (which I value more than anything to this day) that alone was my best investment in college other than public speaking.ĭon't get me wrong, college in general should be something we should all at least try once, but if you have your certs in hand, and keep up to date on whats going on in the IT Community, I find it BETTER than just plain on college for computer science or if your lucky your school has a real IT program. ![]() The other classes were a joke, I knew everything they taught already (and taught some of the classes for god sakes) and they didn't seem to have a push for guys/gals who were already working in the field. The safety of you and your passengers depends entirely on you, the driver.Rogue, I'll be honest when I was in college (at JSU and then eventually Virginia College in Birmingham) I only had one teacher that really pushed me for IT training. Remember, it may take a kilometre or more for a train to stop, even under full emergency braking. Drive at a speed that will allow you to be able to stop within the distance clearly lit by your headlights. During poor weather or at night, be alert for advance railway warning and railway signs. This will prevent you from being hit with flying debris if the train hits the stalled vehicle. If possible, go in the direction where the train is approaching. If a train is coming move well away from your vehicle and away from the tracks. If your vehicle stalls on a railway crossing, get everyone out of the vehicle and away from the track immediately. If you cannot complete the shift, your vehicle could be stalled on the tracks. If your vehicle has a standard (manual) transmission, do not change gears while crossing the tracks. If the gate is down, or raising or lowering, do not cross the tracks. You may not be able to hear the second train because of the noise of the first one. A second train can come on another track from a different direction. When the last car of a train passes the crossing, make sure that another train is not coming before you move ahead.Wait on the approach to the crossing and cross only when you are sure you can clear the crossing. Do not get trapped on the railway tracks at a railway crossing.Follow these safety tips whenever you are driving near railway tracks: ![]()
